The International Entrepreneurship University (IEU) is a legally registered private higher education institution in France, operating as a distance learning provider (établissementd’enseignementprivé à distance) in accordance with the regulatory framework established by the Ministry of National Education and under the academic oversight of the Rectorate of the Paris Academy. IEU complies fully with the provisions of Articles L 444-1 to L 444-11 and R 444-1 to R 444-28 of the Code de l’Éducation, which governs the establishment and functioning of private distance learning institutions in France.
While IEU is not authorised to issue diplômesnationaux (state-recognised French diplomas), it is fully authorised to independently design and confer its own institutional Master’s and Doctoral qualifications. These qualifications are grounded in robust academic design and are aligned with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) and the aims of the Bologna Process, thereby ensuring international comparability, transparency, and recognition.
IEU is unwavering in its commitment to academic quality and integrity. It has implemented comprehensive internal quality assurance (IQA) systems that follow the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). To further reinforce external credibility and safeguard academic standards, IEU has established an independent International Quality Advisory Panel (IQAP) composed of distinguished academics, quality assurance experts, and experienced reviewers from diverse international contexts. This panel provides strategic academic counsel, evaluates programme rigor, and plays a key role in assuring continuous improvement and institutional accountability.
Although IEU has not yet been subject to external review by an EQAR-registered quality assurance agency, it remains fully committed to pursuing such evaluations in the near future as part of its long-term quality roadmap. In the interim, the IQAP provides an essential layer of external academic oversight, enabling IEU to uphold the highest standards of excellence, relevance, and integrity across all its programmes. IEU strongly believes that transparency, alignment with European frameworks, and the cultivation of an independent quality culture are foundational to building long-term trust with learners, partners, and the global academic community.
