Programme Overview

The Doctor of Professional Achievement (Honoris Causa / VAE) is an exclusive honorary doctorate awarded by invitation only. Conferred under IEU’s academic framework and inspired by the principles of the French Validation des Acquis de l’Expérience (VAE), it recognises exceptional leadership, entrepreneurial innovation, and professional impact. Candidates are nominated and invited to present a portfolio of evidence, critical reflection, and professional achievements demonstrating their distinguished contributions to business and society.

Learning Outcomes

  • 3. Exercise substantial authority and responsibility for organisational or sectoral development.

Entry Requirements

  • 1. Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including 5 years in leadership roles
  • 2. Evidence of innovation, impact, or sectoral influence
  • 3. Postgraduate qualifications
  • 4. Interview and eligibility review by the VAE Admissions Panel

Programme Components

Portfolio Guidelines

Candidates must submit a minimum 10,000-word portfolio that includes:
  • 1. A reflective narrative of their professional journey
  • 2. Documentation of strategic projects and outcomes
  • 3. Evidence of impact (KPIs, endorsements, media, awards)
  • 4. Optional integration with academic theory or models
